About
A long time ago in the far away village of Celina, Ohio, a parody rapper was born. SeanieMic, originally named Puss In Boots, was brought into the comedy rap world in 2000. Along with his friends, Phat Lipp and Captain Poopypants, the trio would develop the greatest thing to come out of Mercer County since Big Fritz sandwiches.
This supergroup, the C-Town Hustlaz, came out with their debut album, “Flamin’ Dog Poo & The Human Response” with critical acclaim from the ten people that listened to it. After performing at summer festivals and the prom, the Hustlaz received the respect that the only hip hop group in the town would get, which was none. It would take another album, “War On The Streetz” for the Hustlaz to be the group Celinans would turn to for funny rap songs about the town. The second album saw the rise and the fall of the trio as they all went their separate ways after the release. Phat Lipp got a sex change and Captain Poopypants wrote a series of successful children’s books.
Puss In Boots would stay on the rap path because he knew it would eventually be beneficial for a white guy to be a rapper. During his first year at college, he would release the classic album, “I’m A Bad Mamma Jamma.” The songs. “Without Porn” and “I Just Love You (Natty Lite)” became underground hits with the college crowds. After the album, Puss In Boots went on a three year hiatus to pursue his degree and the art of partying down. It wasn’t until accepting the nomination for “best man” at his brother’s wedding that he would return to the rap world in 2006.
His “Best Man Rap” was seen by thousands of people on YouTube and featured on such sites as Cracked.com and The Times UK. After the success of that video, he knew that he had to come back, it was just a matter of finding the right avenue. He approached the morning show “Andrew Z In The Morning” on 92.5 KISS-FM in Toledo, Ohio with a proposal. With this new opportunity meant a new rap name. Puss In Boots was already taken over by the Shrek franchise, so he decided to go with SeanieMic. SeanieMic is his actual first and middle name, but with slight adjustments.
His stint on “Andrew Z in the Morning” has lasted over a year and he became a prominent artist in the Toledo area, thanks to the radio show. He has made over sixty songs for the show, from segment introductions to celebrity interview songs. He has given such celebrities as Jennifer Lopez, Pauly Shore, Jesse McCartney, and Carrie Ann Inaba, the “SeanieMic” treatment. Also, he was given the chance to perform live for parody legend, “Weird” Al Yankovic, to “roast” the legendary artist on the show. Most of his songs would revolve around recent celebrity gossip, Toledo news, or anything to engage the #1 morning show in Toledo’s vast audience.
Countless performances and opportunities came a-knockin’. He was featured on the FOX Toledo’s series, “Toledo Idol” as an upcoming musician in the area. Also, the Toledo Mud Hens accepted a song from the rapper to be played at all home games during the 2007 baseball season.
His music videos have been published all over the web. From Yahoo!, Sports Illustrated, Spike, The Huffington Post, College Humor, and many more!
His “Personalized Rhymes” business continues to make his songs the hit of any party or special event. The new album, “It’ A Banana In My Pants” will be released soon. He will continually be a staple in the parody world, but with a hip hop twist.
